To those interested persons who have expressed concern in my situation, I can only say, "Thank You most sincerely." Never in my wildest dreams, (or nightmares!) did I imagine that one day I would find myself in a US Peniteniary, serving what amounts to a life sentence. I thought that 40 yr. sentences, (or more) applied to murderers, rapists and molesters of little children. I thought 40 years was for the most heinious crimes committed. I knew that I would never hurt anyone physically, and I haven't. The pain, anguish and embarrassment that I have caused my family and friends weighs heavily on my mind. I owe a penalty for that, to be sure, but a majority of people seem to agree that forty years is excessive; I hope to get that reduced. Anyway, I am trying very hard to become acclimated here at Big Sandy, USP, in the great state of Kentucky. I am going thru "A and O" right now, having physicals and being evaluated. Soon I will be assigned to a job. I am signing up for some classes to fill any spare time I might have. Whatever I do, I want it to be as constructive as possible.
